Oklahoman Tommy Adkisson exploded onto the national scene back in 1993 when he won both Open Doubles (with Russ King) and Open Singles at the World Championships, while also finishing second in Mixed Doubles. Tommy won 8 major titles during the 1990s, including two other world titles. Adkisson and partner Rob Mares won Open Doubles at the 1996 worlds, and "Two-Gun" Tommy won the singles crown one year later. Tommy's 2007 season included a second place result in Masters Singles, a third place result in Open Singles at the Tornado worlds, and an impressive second place finish at the ITSF Table Soccer World Championships in Italy. Considered one of the most talented and fiery players in the sport's history, Adkisson's aggressive, high speed style has marked him as one of the sport's most intimidating performers.

Since first exploding onto the professional foosball circuit back in 1993 Louis Cartwright has made a trip to the winner's circle nine different times on the major pro tour, including this year's Open Doubles event at the worlds playing with Tom Yore. During that 1993 season, Louis came from nowhere to win open titles at the year's first three major events. He grabbed the Open Singles title at both the Tour Kickoff and U.S. Open, and earned doubles honors at the Masters event in Atlanta with Gus Trevino. Cartwright went on to earn five more titles in the next three years, including Masters and World Singles championships in 1996.

21 year old Billy Pappas first gained notice on the USTSA pro tour when he came back from a first round loss to win the 1995 National Rookie Singles title in Cleveland, Ohio at the age of nine. Billy defeated a huge field of players, all of whom were two, three, or even four times his age. Over the past couple of seasons "Billy the Kid" has emerged as one of the top players in the world, winning five times on the major pro tour here in America while also becoming a force on the international circuit. Billy's success here in the the states helped make him one of the first players chosen for the U.S. National Team which will compete in Germany this May in the World Cup of Table Soccer. Pappas's amazing abilities as a forward or goalie, while winning titles in both singles and doubles, have elevated him to the status of foosball superstar, with the best years of his career undoubtedly still ahead of him.

Christina showed she could play the forward position as well during the 2006 season with two top-3 finishes on the pro tour.Currently ranked at number 3 in the USTSA ratings, and number 6 internationally, Christina also earned a spot on the USA team which will compete this November at the prestigious ITSF Table Soccer World Championships in St. Vincent, Italy.

Stacy, one of the most consistent lady-players on the international pro tour, won the World Women's Singles Championship on the Tornado table in 2005, defeating the great Cindy Head in an amazing final match effort. Her performance at the 2007 ITSF Table Soccer World Championships in Italy resulted in a second place result in singles, and she has reached the finals at the Tornado worlds in each of the last two years, once in singles and once in doubles. Her most recent win came in Las Vegas at the 2008 Hall of Fame Classic when she teamed with Shelly Langley to claim the women's doubles title.

Minnesota Pro Master Dave Gummeson has been a staple on the pro tour for nearly 25 years. His calm yet intense demeanor, unstoppable 5-row, and solid all around game have helped him win eight open titles on the major pro tour, including the world singles title in 1995. "Gummy" was also crowned Masters Singles champion in 1993, and has been victorious five different times at the National Championships, including 2003 and 2004 when Dave and regular partner Tracy McMillin became the first team to win the title in two consecutive years. Gummeson seems to have no weakness on the foosball table and his highly-efficient 5-row is renowned as one of the best ever. A former winner of the tour's sportsmanship award, Dave is also recognized as one of table soccer's true gentleman. However, in the case of this classy veteran forward from America's upper midwest, nice guys definitely do not finish last.

Since first joining the pro circuit more than twenty years ago, Alabama foosball legend Cindy Head has won better than 70 individual major titles, more than twice as many as any other lady player. She has earned a record thirty-six World Championships during her illustrious career, including an amazing nine straight Womens Singles titles during the years 1986-94. Cindy also won eight doubles titles during those same years, giving her seventeen world championship wins in just nine pro tour seasons.
