Terry Moore and Gil Jackson, Latest Hall of Fame Inductees

Tornado great Terry Moore and 1970's legend Gil Jackson became the latest table soccer stars to be honored with Hall of Fame induction at the recent Las Vegas event. Moore, who revolutionized the sport by becoming the first player to ever win a major title using the snake shot, was the clear winner of the annual voting, while Jackson, who as a teenager shocked the foosball world by winning the 1977 world Open Doubles title with Todd Loffredo, was inducted in a vote of the veteran's committee. Rule Change Opens The Door For Newest Hall of Famer

Nineteen time World Champion Todd Loffredo became the latest legendary name to be added to the prestigious list of Table Soccer Hall of Famers in a ceremony held at the season-opening International Championship event in Las Vegas. Due to a recent rule change allowing active players with more than fifteen years of pro tour play to be eligible for induction, Loffredo, in his first year of eligibility, came out on top of the Hall of Fame Commitee voting by the widest margin ever, earning eighty percent of the first place votes on his way to an overwhelming win over runner-up Cindy Head.

Texas table soccer icon Steve Murray became the twent-first member of the prestigious Table Soccer Hall of Fame in an induction ceremony held at the recent Las Vegas season-opener as the U.S.T.S.A. continued it's effort to
recognize and remember the sport' s most important and influential personalities. The highly accomplished Mr. Murray was not only recognized for his exploits as one of the game�s greatest players, but also earned the honor for his years of work as a promoter and contributor to the sport as well.

March 25, 2003 LINK PENDLEY, BOB FURR ANNOUNCED AS NEWEST MEMBERS OF FOOSBALL HALL OF FAME

For the eighth consecutive year, the sport of table-soccer celebrated its rich and diverse history at the season-opening event in Las Vegas, as two new names were added to the prestigious Foosball Hall of Fame. Legendary promoter, tournament director and executive Link Pendley and original Tornado table designer Bob Furr became the newest members of this exclusive club in a ceremony held Saturday evening at the Riviera Hotel.
