Oklahoman Tommy Adkisson exploded onto the national scene back in 1993 when he won both Open Doubles (with Russ King) and Open Singles at the World Championships, while also finishing second in Mixed Doubles. Tommy won 8 major titles during the 1990s, including two other world titles. Adkisson and partner Rob Mares won Open Doubles at the 1996 worlds, and "Two-Gun" Tommy won the singles crown one year later. Tommy's 2007 season included a second place result in Masters Singles, a third place result in Open Singles at the Tornado worlds, and an impressive second place finish at the ITSF Table Soccer World Championships in Italy. Considered one of the most talented and fiery players in the sport's history, Adkisson's aggressive, high speed style has marked him as one of the sport's most intimidating performers.
